In the end, Michael Gunn did not instigate any legal proceedings against
the University following his admission of plagiarism via the internet. As
you
would expect, the University has robust and well-established procedures to
combat plagiarism, which were firmly in place during Michael's time at the
University. These ensure that all our students are given clear guidance on
this issue from day one via a range of sources including the faculty and
departmental handbooks. Hope this helps.
