Re: [kent-grads] House of Commons

Kilara,

I would be much cheaper over email :o) eInvites :) Although it was nice to
get the posh looking one saying I was invited to the house of lords and have
it lying around the house ;-)

How about some kind of quarterly or 1/2 yearly eNewsletter. Perhaps doing it
in a 'highlight' format. With about 7 or 8 or so short articles pointing to
'full stories' that are held on the Kent websites? One could be a spotlight
that had an image and a it would be the highest profile story.

i.e:
Get information about the Universities name change*
Read about the history of The University of Kent's name and the changes and
decisions that have lead to the change from 'UKC' to Kent.

i.e.
Invitation to the House of Lords!*
As a Kent alumni you are cordially invited to the annual get together. This
year its being hosted again at the prestigious House of Lords at the British
Houses of parliament. Find the full invitation here.

Would be in HTML but have a text version available - if you use a bulk mail
agency they can do auto sense - come to think of it I'm sure the behemoth of
Kent's computing muscle could do the same! :o)

I should work in Marketing ;-)
